Lloyd\u2019s, a well-known insurance market located in London, has reported that demand for \u201ccyber insurance\u201d is on the rise in light of a growing number of high-profile security incidents.<\/p>\n
\u201cCyber risk poses the most serious threat to businesses and national economies, and it\u2019s an issue that\u2019s not going to go away,\u201d said Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd\u2019s.\u00a0\u201cThe London market has a long, proud history of finding innovative solutions to insuring large, complex risks that are challenging to underwrite locally.\u201d<\/p>\n
